So I'm pretty convinced that all scripted network television is unwatchable.
HBO and Showtime know what's up.
You can watch any show on either channel and its probably been nominated and/or won an award.
Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, The Big C, Game of Thrones, Nurse Jackie, True Blood....the list goes on.
Game of Thrones is the newcomer on the scene, ending it's second season this coming Sunday. This show is my new obsession. Seriously. After watching the first season I was hooked. So knowing that the show is based on books I immediately bought the first book in the series by George R.R. Martin. I have never in my 28 years read a book and watched it play out on screen scene for scene and word for word. AMAZING!!! I've been so disappointed with adaptations in the past that I'm brought to tears when I see what I saw in my mind alive and breathing on the screen. I'm so excited for the show and books! Hopefully when season three starts I will be halfway through the third book.
My new half hour show on HBO is Girls. It is Sex and The City for young women today. It's not Manolos and Berkins. It's more like, Tom's and Garbage bags. And I love it. There's a Neurotic writer, an ADHD virgin, a free spirited Brit, an uptight best friend, and the boys they kiss. Oh wait, I think that IS Sex and the City, LoL.
I've tried watching "Regular TV" shows and it's abyssmal. I mean really wretched. Think of stinky cheese covered in melodrama and dipped in bad acting. There you have every show not on cable.
Thank God for HBO and Showtime!

Traveling
I've been watching My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding and it's inspired me.
I want to buy a trailer/caravan. I can see it now; driving along the Pacific Coast highway, drinking coffee with sand in my toes. Splashing Rocky in the surf. The smell of pine and wet earth.
I want to drive across a few states. Go up to Washington, and see whats doin'. I'd love to go to Las Vegas, and I would FREAK if I could see Louisiana. Seeing Louisiana on a map though-it's really far!!!! Let the adventures begin!
Living in California, we have it so good. You could literally drive in any direction and get to something cool.
So here I go now, looking for an affordable trailer to tow around.
So exciiiiiited!!!!!!!

Pretty faces.
Isn't it Amazing how one moment you can look in the mirror and think "Man, I'm pretty.". And then an hour later you're washing your hands in the bathroom and you look up and..."oh my god, has that zit been there all day???".
I guess it's not always that dramatic, but damn, it sucks when it does happen.
For me-my problem lies with the texture of my skin. I don't like liquid foundation. I prefer powder, and so I don't get the coverage I'd like.
Oh well, I guess I have to save up for a chemical peel.
I just discovered Carmex! My lips are feeling so smooth, I'm throwing out all my old Chapstick tubes. I'm done with you Chapstick-I've found another who treats me right! LoL
I've noticed that mascara makes a woooooorld of difference. Every woman on Earth should be using mascara on a daily basis. Wake up. Brush your teeth. Apply 2 coats of mascara. Done.
I don't understand these plain Jane girls. How can you not want to look pretty? I don't get it. Testosterone perhaps?
Not everyone can be pretty I guess, but we should all want to try.

I laughed so hard the other night when I was watching America's Got Talent! The Sexy Sax Man performed and I could not get enough. I laughed so hard I ugly laughed, okay?

And three days later, it's STILL funny to me! I should add this video to my workout, so that I can laugh away the el-bees. If I could seriously lose weight by laughing, I would be a skiiiiiiinny bitch, LOL.
